On Thursday, February 23rd, from 6:00-8:00pm, local artist Carol White will be leading a workshop on how to draw optical illusions. The following week, on Thursday, March 1st, from 6:00-7:45, artist Lully Schwartz will lead a presentation on the use of color in oil paintings throughout history. The Color of Art

Join renowned artist Lully Schwartz for a presentation on the use of color in oil paintings throughout history. Discover how and why artists from Claude Monet to Andy Warhol changed the way we look at, live with, and paint color. Through Lully’s demonstration, learn how to mix oil paints, how to set up a painters’ palette, and more. This lecture is limited to 20 adults, and sign-up is required.
