Borrowing Information:

Get a library card:

Any resident of Topsfield age six or older may obtain a library card with proof of residency.  A MA driver’s license or state-issued ID stating your Topsfield address will be sufficient. If you are new to town and your picture ID does not yet have your Topsfield address, please bring in a piece of mail stating your name and Topsfield address in addition to your picture ID.

Having a card from any library in the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium will allow you to borrow from any of the 34 other libraries in MVLC. In addition, you may request items from any MVLC library to be sent to your home library.  You can do this in person in the library, over the phone, or at home through the online catalog. For a list of all the libraries in MVLC, click here.

How to renew:

Materials may be renewed once online, in person, or by phone.  Subsequent renewals cannot be done online, but may be able to be renewed in person or by phone. Items that have been requested by other patrons may not be renewed.
